NU’EST has made a comeback very recently with their new single, “Action”. There have been so many new rookie groups debuting this year, but few have stood out to me. NU’EST has been able to claw their way through all the new debuts and begin to make a name for themselves. Kudos. I actually like this song a lot better than “Face”. I hope they can continue to get better and better with each release. Now, without any further ado, let’s take a look at some of the lyrics!

Translation: You’re wrong, you stand out easily
Definition: 틀리다 – be wrong, be incorrect, be mistaken, make a mistake (in), commit [make] an error (in) ; 툭하면 – easily, often; 튀다 – stand out, be showy
2. 멋대로 손가락질은 말라고 말했을텐데
Translation: I think I told you to not point fingers at me
Definition: 손가락질 – point a finger at, blame; 멋대로 – as one pleases
3. 새장 속의 새처럼 너를 안에 가둬두지마
Translation: Like a bird in a cage, don’t lock yourself inside
Definition: 새장 – cage, birdcage; 속 – inside, interior; 가두다 – shut up (in), lock up
4. 니 이름을 외치고 있잖아
Translation: You are shouting out your name
Definition: 외치다 – cry (out), shout (out), scream, shriek, exclaim
5. 꼭두각시 같이 살지 않아
Translation: I won’t live as a puppet
Definition: 꼭두각시 – puppet, marionette
